Bundaberg Distilling Company have been mastering the art of ageing rum since 1888 and still age their rum in oak vats that are still crafted and maintained by hand. Every now and then a maturing vat produces something exceptional, rum with supreme character that takes time to develop. These exceptional vats are reserved and closely watched by the distillery's expert rum craftsmen. They are monitored and cared for until the premium rum reaches the peak of it’s character, when it is released as Bundaberg Reserve. This old oak aged rum demonstrates outstanding character and is rich and dark with a hint of oak finish.
