1/500 Airbus Industries BelugaXL - XL#6

The new Beluga XL, developed from the A330, has a 30 percent higher cargo capacity than its predecessor A300-600ST and, for example, enables the transport of two wings of the A350 instead of just one, as was possible with the previous Beluga. The easiest way to recognize the XL from the outside is its “smile”, which further enhances the whale’s appearance. On July 21, 2023, the sixth and final BelugaXL took off from Toulouse on its first flight. In contrast to the first five, Beluga number six still winks on the port side. The model is made of metal and comes with an interchangeable plastic part, which means it can be displayed either with the bow gate open or closed.
