1/35 Panther G with Turret Roof Armor Plastic Model Kit

As the Luftwaffe faced increasing challenges in WWII, German tanks became more vulnerable to enemy fighters. In response, Germany developed a special set of armored plates that could be mounted atop the turret and over sections of the Panther's engine deck. These field-mounted steel plates were double-spaced on the turret top to enhance protection against aircraft strafing and shrapnel.

Dragon's new Premium Edition item 6913 showcases a Panther Ausf.G with these distinctive additional armor plates. As a premium edition, this kit is upgraded with Magic Tracks, 3D printed parts, a metal gun barrel, and copper cables.
