This mount is designed for clean, flat metal surfaces only. It is not suitable for non-metallic panels or curved roof sections. For best results, clean the roof area and the magnet pads before each install so the magnets can sit fully flat.

What should I do to keep the mount secure and help protect my paintwork?

Inspect the magnets regularly and keep both the vehicle surface and magnet pads clean. If the rubber coating ages or cracks, replace the magnet to maintain grip and reduce the risk of marking the surface. Avoid storing the magnetic discs stuck together, and remove the mount if the vehicle will sit in hot sun for long periods, as prolonged heat and UV can age rubber coatings.
