About 10 years have passed since the blue agaves in this tequila first stretched their leaves towards the hot Mexican sun, can you imagine? An agave must grow for 8 to 10 years before it can be harvested for tequila production. This is followed by the cooking process and then fermentation, which in turn takes several days. This tequila then matures in carefully selected bourbon oak barrels for at least 8 months. The most important ingredient in our tequila is undoubtedly time. The result: a delicate vanilla taste, a hint of raw and cooked agave, very present, very pleasant in the finish.
