Bottled in Scotland by Kingbury & Co. of Aberdeen on behalf of Whisky Talk Fukouka, Japan's oldest whisky festival, this refill hogshead had an outturn of just 253 bottles. A classic Caol Ila profile and a great showcase of mature Islay peat. Kingsbury & Co was founded in Aberdeen in 1989 by Katsuhiko Tanaka, the president of Japan Import System Co. Ltd., all of their whiskies are hand selected by Tanaka-san and Gordon Wright of Springbank Distillery.
