Four decades in Spanish oak, distilled into stillness and intensity. The Glendronach 40 Year Old is the most mature expression in the distillery’s core collection, drawn from a limited selection of Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks from Jerez. Aged in traditional dunnage warehouses under exacting conditions, this Highland single malt reflects a deep mastery of long-term maturation.

Hand-selected by Master Blender Rachel Barrie at the height of their expression, the casks offer extraordinary concentration and layered depth. The whisky opens with dark fruit and patisserie aromas, before unfolding across the palate with compote, chocolate, and finely integrated spice. This is a whisky of stature and stillness, refined over decades into complexity few spirits reach.
