SANTIS Sigel Malt is a bold and characterful Swiss single malt that highlights the innovative spirit of Säntis whisky making. Produced by Brauerei Locher in the Appenzell Alps, this expression is matured in a combination of old beer casks and wine casks, resulting in a richer, more expressive profile than the lighter Himmelberg Malt.

Tasting Notes

👃 Nose: Aromatic and expressive with notes of malted barley, dried fruit, honey, vanilla and subtle red berry tones. Light oak spice and herbal nuances add depth.

🥃 Palate: Full-bodied and rounded, delivering flavours of sweet malt, caramel, toasted cereal and dark fruit. Gentle spice and soft tannins from wine cask influence provide structure and balance.

🔥 Finish: Medium to long, warming and smooth, with lingering malt sweetness, dried fruit and a touch of peppery spice.
