Bayer Hideject Vitamin A D & E Injection for Cows Ewes & Sows 100ml

Hideject is an aid in the prevention of milk fever in cows, ewes and sows and is a injectable solution containing Vitamin A, D3 and E.

Features

• Vitamin A is essential for cell and membrane integrity, normal vision and fertility
• Vitamin D3 is necessary for parathyroid activity and normal metabolism of calcium, phosphorus and magnesium
• In large doses Vitamin D3 helps mobilise calcium from bones, helping to prevent the symptoms of milk fever in cows,ewes and sows
• Vitamin E is in an anti-oxidant; involved in the regulation of oxidation processes in the body and is important for muscles and fertility
• Both Vitamins A and E assist with immune responses during times of stress

Dose:

• Administer by deep intramuscular injection

Cows:

• To aid in the prevention of milk fever
• Administer 5ml 4 - 6 weeks before calving when induction methods are used and 8 days prior to natural calving

Ewes:

• 1 - 4ml - 6 - 8 weeks before lambing

Sows:

• 3 - 4ml - 4 weeks before farrowing

A very popular product for Alpacas - as it has a higher concentration of Vitamin D. This is off label use in Alpacas, always consult your veterinarian.

Approximate dosage for your alpacas: Adults - 1ml, Cria - 0.5ml.
