Pure, slatey Clare Valley Riesling from Col & Jen at Adelina, fermented almost dry.

The Watervale Riesling is usually a touch sweeter than the Polish Hill River but in recent vintages it has been fermented through to almost dryness. It is showing a little more bright and vivacious in its youth (it is normally more closed than the PHR) with pristine citrus and slate characters.
