Colour: A good deep and vibrant dark red.

Aroma: An attractive nose, it has the dark berry fruit aromas typical of the variety together with some notes of smoky plum, all complexed by the subtle oak characters picked up during barrel maturation.

Palate: This is a well flavoured Merlot, it has lovely sweet black berry fruit characters on the palate with a good textural quality. These clean fruit flavours are balanced by its gentle tannin structure and the wine is well integrated after its time in French oak and several months in bottle.

Cellaring: This is a medium bodied red that is certainly approachable now and will also handle some short term cellaring.
