A beautifully crafted liquoreux white from Patrick Baudouin in the Loire, vintage 2018, from the renowned Les Bruandi res parcel in the Coteaux du Layon appellation, rich botrytis character, excellent complexity and impressive ageing potential.

Colour: Golden yellow with amber reflections

Aroma: Candied citrus peel, ripe apricot, mirabelle plum, honey, subtle marmalade and a hint of exotic spice

Palate: Velvety texture, generous sweet fruit, bright underlying acidity, fine saline mineral finish

Cellaring: Best enjoyed from 2022 through to around 2035 or more
