A distinguished 2020 vintage from Domaine de la Noblaie in the Chinon appellation of the Loire Valley, made from old-vine Cabernet Franc on flint and limestone soils, offering serious complexity and ageing potential.

Colour: Deep ruby red with garnet reflections

Aroma: Blackcurrant and blackberry fruit, subtle violet florals, graphite minerality, peppery spice, hint of tobacco leaf

Palate: Medium to full body, polished but present tannins, vibrant acidity, refined dark fruit core, lingering mineral finish

Cellaring: Best from 2024 through to about 2032 for optimum expression
