Appearance: Deep ruby red.

Aromas: Ripe blackberries, blueberries, dark cherries, black pepper, old leather, wet bricks, dried figs, plums, hibiscus, and hints of vanilla and chocolate.

Palate: Full-bodied with fine tannins, rich dark berry flavors, subtle acidity, and a long, smooth finish.

This wine will pair very well with aged cheeses, barbequed beef, game meats like venison, rich tomato sauce pasta dishes and mushroom risotto. It is recommended to be served between 18-20 C.
