Deep ruby red with garnet reflections in appearance, intense bouquet of dried violets, cooking spices, leather, and ripe red fruits. Full-bodied with flavours of black cherry jam, star anise, and a hint of tobacco. Velvety tannins provide a smooth mouthfeel. Long and persistent finish, with a pleasant almond note.

Recommended to serve at 18-20 C. Decanting for 1-2 hours before serving can enhance its aromatic profile and soften the tannins.
