This 24 release is a modern take on Australia s traditional expression of Chardonnay. It s medium-bodied & easy drinking, one that doesn t require raising your pinkie to drink, but still gets your attention nonetheless. Our cool climate fruit gave us a roaring head start in the style we wanted to make. We focused on striking up the right balance between fruit, acid and oak- so neither one overpowered the other. There s a freshness that comes from the fruit s crisp acidity and the citrus-peachy-like aromatics. This then all comes together with a hint of oak, which polishes it off nicely with a creamy finish. Think white peach & nougat.

This Cavedon Chardonnay will go well with grilled or roated chicken, seafood, creamy pasta dished, fresh salads or as an aperitif.
