Colour: Semi translucent red to dark red colour with black toned edges and a light red hue.

Aroma: Fragrant cherry and strawberry aromas along with some violet notes blossom out of the glass trailed by forest floor, bramble and spicy dried herbs.

Palate: Light in body the palate is both fresh and supple in its feel with red cherry and strawberry fruits melding into a forest floor, fresh herb and spice infused back drop. Polished tannins with an elegant red fruited conclusion.

Cellaring: Drink over the next 4-5 years.

Food Pairing: Roasted or grilled chicken or duck. Mushroom dishes. Pork. Soft to medium cheeses.
