A 'tribute' to all of our Dad's - the special men in our lives, THE HEROES Cabernet Malbec is a limited release Clare Valley wine.

Mid?weight with al dente tannins , vibrant, energetic, savoury aromatics.

Pairing: Good matches include - grilled or roasted beef / lamb, stews, dishes with dark sauces (pepper, red wine reductions), game meats, hearty pasta, perhaps even slow?cooked pork. Also aged cheeses, mushroom?based dishes.

Cellaring: Drinkable now, especially if decanted, but will likely improve over the next 3?6 years. Peak drinking probably 2?5 years from vintage (so roughly from 2025?2028). It may hold for longer (up to 7?8 years) especially in good storage, evolving more tertiary complexity (leather, earth, dried dark fruit) while softening tannins.
