Fragrant cherry, plum; forest-fruit type aromas; dried spices; possibly a hint of earthy/savoury undertones. Red fruits (cherry, plum, raspberries) are front and centre. The texture is smooth with supple tannins rather than very firm ones. Some spices, maybe a little dried herbs or forest floor from more subtle influences. Acidity is bright enough to give freshness; the finish has some savoury notes and a modest lingering fruit aftertaste. Not hugely long, but satisfying.

Enjoy with Roast or grilled poultry: Duck dishes: Game birds or lighter game meats: Mushroom-based dishes: Soft cheeses and Dishes with mild spice or even lightly spiced fruit-based sauces. Serve slightly cooler than room temperature: around 15-17 C is good.
