Persan is a traditional local grape originally from the Maurienne Valley. This is a red wine blend of 50% Persan and 50% Gamay. It produces a full-bodied wine, with an aroma of candied almost spiced fruits. When blended with Gamay it keeps the style light and luscious with aromatic tones and peppery backbone of spice.

Serving Temperature: 14-16 C.

Decanting: Optional a brief 15 30 minute decant can help open up the aromatics.

Cellaring Potential: Drink now through 2027 best enjoyed young for its vibrant fruit.

This wine will pair well with Savoyard dishes like Tartiflette or Raclette, Charcuterie Boards with Cured Meats and Pickles, Roasted Poultry or Duck with Berry Sauces and Mushroom Risotto or Lentil Stew.
