Appetito Nutcracker Chrome

Roasting freshly cracked open nut kernels not only makes them crisp, it also releases their essential oils, bringing out their fullest flavour.  The easiest way to roast just about nay type of nut, is to place them in a single layer on a baking tray and place in a pre-heated 180c oven until they are golden and aromatic (approx. 8-12 minutes)  Be sure to shake the pan half way through the roasting process to make sure the nuts roast evenly
