Overview

Soundstream SCX-4 is a 4 Farad system power capacitor. These outboard Capacitors, sometimes called stiffening caps, are used to prevent lights from dimming when loud bass notes play. They accomplish this by supplying the amplifier with a quick jolt of power.

The SCX-4 offers auxiliary power with the ability to enhance transient notes, often suppressed by the OEM battery, while reinforcing the battery during long, intense bass notes. SCX 4 perfect addition to supply the necessary power for a system with 12-16 DC Input Voltage.
