The Power Zoom Adapter PZ-E2 offers advanced zoom control for the RF24-105mm F2.8 L IS USM Z lens, catering to the specific requirements of videographers. Its DC motor allows precise, stepless adjustment of zoom speed, enabling both fast and smooth zooming. There's also a separate model, the PZ-E2B, equipped with a 20-pin port for compatibility with Canon cinema and broadcast lens accessories. Both versions directly attach to the RF24-105mm F2.8 L IS USM Z lens and draw power from the camera through lens contacts, eliminating the need for batteries in either PZ-E2 unit.

Sophisticated Zoom Control

Power Zoom Adapter PZ-E2 enables smooth, high-precision zoom control during movie shooting. Featuring a DC motor that provides both rapid zoom action and smooth, low-speed zooming, the PZ-E2 allows for unassisted single-person video shooting operation.

Excellent Operability

Easily attach and detach the Power Zoom Adapter PZ-E2 without the use of a special tool*. Simply line up the positioning pins with the sockets on the RF24-105mm F2.8 L IS USM Z lens and turn the mounting screws to fasten the adapter. The placement was designed so it can be attached or detached even while the lens is combined with a rig, gimbal, or tripod so you can keep your production rolling. A thumb rest attachment is also included for additional hand-held comfort.

* A hexagonal allen-type wrench is bundled for attaching/detaching the thumb rest.

Supports PD-E1 Power Adapter

The PD-E1 Power Adapter (sold separately) enables high-speed zoom mode on the Power Zoom Adapter PZ-E2 via the USB type C port, with select EOS camera models. It also lowers the power supply demand on the camera, allowing for longer shoots.
