Overview

The Sky-Watcher 150/750 Star Discovery is a fully automatic telescope designed for beginners and those who want to dive right into observing. Aligning the mount is a quick process with the "Bright Object" alignment mode, and the computerized SynScan system is the ultimate upgrade, allowing automatic pointing and tracking of more than 42,000 objects in the sky. This ensures more time enjoying observations and less time searching for faint nebulae or distant planets. Astronomy has never been this easy!

The Star Discovery mount is an upgrade from the Star Explorer, featuring Freedom Find dual encoder technology. Once aligned, the telescope can be manually pointed anywhere in the sky without losing alignment, providing users with significant freedom, convenience, and flexibility during observations.

This Newtonian telescope employs diffraction-limited mirrors for superior optical quality. The primary mirror is aspheric (parabolic) and collimatable, ensuring precise mirror alignment and crisp image quality. With a 150mm aperture, it gathers 30% more light than a 130mm telescope and 73% more than a 114mm reflector. This results in incredible observations of Saturn's rings, Jupiter's bands and moons, Venus's phases, and the polar ice caps on Mars.
