Aloe Vera barbadensis miller Succulent Live Plant

Aloe Vera barbadensis miller is the most common grown of the Aloe species. An evergreen succulent of leaves green to grey depending on the amount of light the plants gets. The more shade the greener the leaves appear. Each leaf is thick and fleshy with a run of thorns on each side, which are not very sharp.

Well known for its medicinal properties of its leaves, the gel contains soothing properties to treat sunburn and other skin conditions.

It can be grown both indoors in a well-lit area or outdoors in full sun. It prefers soil with good, well-draining gritty soil. If you live in an area with lots of rain you can use a cacti and succulent potting mix to ensure good drainage.

Let dry out between waterings.

Protect from frost and sap-sucking insects like scale or mealy bugs.

Maintenance: Cut off any old outer leaves to encourage new young growth. Use a controlled release fertilizer once a year.

Shipping, packing and handling times

Plants are shipped on Monday/Tuesdays. Due to packing and handling times all orders must be placed by 4pm Sunday. All orders after this time will be shipped the following week (excluding pre-orders)

All plants come with a 100% money back or replacement guarantee if it does not arrive in excellent condition. For refunds and replacements contact must be made no later than 48 hours after delivery of goods with photo verification of the damaged plants. All requests after 48 hours of delivery are subject to plants being in environmental conditions beyond our control and will not be replaced or refunded.
