Queen Adelaide Riesling, 750ml

Queen Adelaide has been a trusted brand in Australia since 1963. The fresh young face of a distinguished heritage, Adelaide truly is a new Queen for a new era. In 1836, the first settlers arrived in South Australia and the new Governor; Captain John Hindmarsh requested permission to name the new city after King William IV of England. The King suggested it be named Adelaide after his Queen and the main street was given the name of King William.

South Australia is renowned for a unique style of Riesling - The Queen Adelaide Riesling is a dry wine, offering a refreshing taste that is not too sweet. Riesling is quite the all rounder, pairing well with most food types but is excellent when sipped alongside food with spice.

Aroma: Aromas of freshly squeezed citrus, lime leaf, lanolin and touches of spices.
Flavour: A delicate wine with elegant lime and lemon citrus fruit flavours. The palate shows lovely acidity finishing dry with a crisp, zesty, refreshing finish.
