The First Single Malt from Chichibu distillery is the first release to be aged for 3 years. Ichiro Akuto started distilling at his newly constructed distillery in 2008 and this first release was bottled in 2011 at cask strength with an impressive ABV of 61.8%.
Only 7,400 bottles released.

    Nose:    Brown sugar, coffee, citrus, vanilla, cream, honey, grains, apples, oranges.

    Taste:    Creamy, oak, caramel, brown sugar, some coffee again, pineapples, pears, honey, vanilla.

    Finish:   Long, with green apples, vanilla and pepper.

Note: Product has come from a private collection, minor markings are inevitable and collectors should have reasonable expectations in this regard.
