Following Teeling’s Revival and Renaissance series of Irish Whiskeys, this first release Rising Reserve consists of hand-selected casks chosen from reserves of their absolute best and oldest Single Malt.
Rising Reserve No.3 is a Limited Edition 21 Year Old Irish Single Malt that has been aged initially in ex-bourbon casks for over 18 years, before being finished in high quality Ruby Port casks for 3 years. This dual maturation and in particular long finishing time in the Ruby Port casks imparts distinctive dark fruit notes, milk chocolate and orchard fruit, married with brown sugar and a soft oak spice.
Only 6,000 bottles released.

    Nose:    Soft mellow sweetness with bursts of caramel, red fruits and a hint of sandalwood.

    Taste:    Brown sugar, chocolate, trifle, Christmas cake, cherry, plum and nectar.

    Finish:   Long luxurious finish with hints of golden syrup, soft tannins, cooked barley and oak spice.
