Penderyn Celt Single Malt Welsh Whisky

Part of the Dragon Range from Penderyn, alongside with ‘Myth’ and ‘Legend’ releases, Celt bottling is a fresh, sweet and smoky expression. The red dragon (Y Ddraig Goch in Welsh) is the proud national flag of Wales, pictured on the bottle and box.
Celt has been matured in specially reserved ex-bourbon American oak casks and finished in ex-peated quarter casks.

    Nose:    Mild aromas of peat smoke, early morning at the rocky seaside and warm marmalade on toast all compete for our attention.

    Taste:    It begins with great sweetness before the smoky, slightly medicinal flavours descend.

    Finish:   Slight bitterness follows that leaves a long and lingering freshness in the mouth.
