Tasting Notes:
Color: Golden amber with a soft copper glow.
Nose: Inviting notes of creamy vanilla, toasted oak, and ripe orchard fruits, with a whisper of sweet spice.
Palate: Smooth and rich, offering flavors of butterscotch, cinnamon, and honey-drizzled apple, perfectly balanced with a light grain character.
Finish: Long and warming with a gentle spice and lingering vanilla cream.
"Those of you who think Canadian whiskies are thin and bland should give this one a try. No, it's not a new concept, like Forty Creek. It's still very much a traditional Canadian. But when compared to most Canadian whiskies, it's richer, creamier, and velvety smooth. The flavors are straightforward primarily vanilla, with some cre?me bru?le?e, toasted marshmallow, tangerine, peaches and cream, and gentle rye spice but they are clean and well-balanced. A delicious, lighter-style whisky." - John Hansell, Whisky Advocate (93 Points)
"What s so surprising about Caribou Crossing, then, is that its balance is so perfect, its grain content is so unclear, and it s so gosh darn tasty." - G. Clay Whittaker, Men's Journal
"What makes this whisky so accessible are its pleasing flavors chocolate and caramel burst on the tongue before fading into more tropical notes of mango, citrus and boysenberry and satisfying finish." - Derek Gamlin, Distiller
"A simple and satisfying Canadian Whisky with sweet maple aromas." - Tastings.com
