Recommendations of use: The maximum volumetric capacity for cooking is 3/4 of the pieces's total capacity. Position the utensil's handle inward toward the center of the stove. On stoves with grates, center the piece on the flame or heat source and align the handle with the grate. Hot utensils should be kept out of the reach of children. This product can be placed in the oven, remember to remove the silicone sleeve before doing so. Before first use, wash with a soft sponge and mild soap or liquid detergent. After drying, grease the internal surface with oil or fat and heat it for one or two minutes. Allow to cool and then wash again. Your Starflon utensil is now ready for use, with or without oil, and always on low or medium heat (never over 260 °C / 500 °F). Only use silicone, nylon, or wood utensils to stir food. This product requires only cleaning and no mantenance. Cleaning: Avoid immersing hot utensil in cold water. Never use abrasive products when washing. In the case of burnt food, soak the area and set aside until the stuck residues can be removed with soap and a sponge. For a longer-lasting product, do not place it in dishwasher.
