NIZORAL 2% Anti-Dandruff Treatment Shampoo 100ml

Overview

Nizoral Shampoo is a medicated anti-dandruff shampoo containing ketoconazole, a broad spectrum anti-fungal*. Helps relieve redness, scaling and itching. *Ranganathan S, Mukhopadhyay T. Dandruff: The Most Commercially Exploited Skin Disease. Indian J Dermatol. 2010; 55(2): 130-4.

Ketoconazole targets the fungus, Malassezia spp., which causes dandruff and medically diagnosed seborrhoeic dermatitis^2,3. A clinical trial demonstrated that Nizoral 2% Shampoo is clinically effective in close to 9 out of 10 users¹.

Nizoral 2% shampoo is used for treatment of severe dandruff and seborrhoeic dermatitis; Nizoral 1% shampoo is used for the treatment of dandruff.

Ingredients

CONTAINS:

Ketoconazole 2% (20 mg/g)

INGREDIENTS:

Ketoconazole 2% (20 mg/g). Also contains 0.2% w/w imidurea as a preservative

Instructions

DIRECTIONS:

Adults and children over 12 years:Apply a small amount of treatment to wet hair and scalp, work into a lather and leave in contact for 3-5 minutes. Rinse thoroughly. Do this twice weekly.

USAGE ADVICE:

Ask your doctor before use if you are using topical corticosteroids.

Do not use on children under 12 years or if you are hypersensitive to any of the ingredients.

CAUTION:

For external use only. Discontinue use if irritation occurs. Seek medical help if an excessive amount is accidentally ingested. Avoid contact with eyes. If shampoo does get into eyes, rinse thoroughly with water.
